I found this guy when I was searching for a review of the new Fender Excelsior 13 watt Amp, he's got a great voice and some harmonica skills. He's a blues Larry David who can't do it all by himself. With a great cover of Sonny Boy Williamson 2's Help me. Here's Dakota dean
Remember GDTKC comes back on air in September, get ready!
Hello Boys and Girls, It's George here again! Wow, 2 months of nothing! What am I like?
The show is back! And I have to admit the blog has been on the back burner since I started my production company. But I come bearing good news....
THE SONICS ARE PLAYING MANCHESTER!!!!!! Yes, that's right and you can order tickets here. I'm hoping to secure an Interview with the band and get them to answer all those burning questions we wanted to ask when they played London last year.
Right anyway here is a link to the latest music video I directed for a loverly group called 'The Systematics' Check out ....IT HURTS
Today the first 100 names of Lps of John Peels collection go live on thespace.org.
The A's are up with Abba, ABC and AC/DC plus many more.Sadly the copyright prevents the website from streaming online, however there are links available to listen elsewhere. John Peel's personal notes will also be available to view.
Here's an interview with George Borowski about the new website and his experiences meeting the Peel in person.
Yes it's time for your weekly dose of rock and roll, we talk Del Shannon, Jack White, Beach boys. Last weeks music news and More. Check out the GDTKC PODCAST! Were also playing you THREE of the best cuts from the Muddy Water's album Electric Mud and giving you the history behind it.

Hello chaps, Not only have The Beach Boys re-united but they're releasing the first brand new single in 30 years.
I'm not keen on the title 'That's why God made the radio', Man made the radio maaaaan. However, it's the best sounding achievement post 1970's that they've done. I'm a sucker for those sweet harmonies and it's got a wall of sound vibe, sadly it doesn't seem to be as guitar heavy as i'd have liked.
Yes it's that time again... GDTKC has changed. But one thing remains the same...I'm playing some of the best Rock and Roll Music. We've moved on to playing only VINYL this week, including the great Brown Brogues and Two Wounded Birds!
I'm also going over the latest music news and lots of hilarity. Go on, have a listen!
And prepare yourself for a second show coming this week!

Hello one and all! GDTKC is back after a well earned break! It's been over a month but We've been busy...
From now on the 'listen again' feature will include all the music we play on the show and I'll give you the option to download just the talk... Sadly Andy Davies has moved on and it's just going to be me from now on. GDTKC is now a one man band, but were playing some good music! From Tomorrow were going to resume our daily blogging and weekly music show, I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I love creating it!
I've also started my own 'movie' business in our little breather, here's a still from my first music video....
Hey guys and girls, just a quick message to tell you to check out this great Captain Beefheart documentary on youtube. It was produced by the BBC in 1997 and narrated by John Peed. It's split in 6 parts, so you'll have to go on youtube yourself to find the rest. But here's part one. Enjoy.
And remember the GDTKC podcast will be published soon, including a great live set from the Rik Warren (A great blues singer).
In this weeks slice of musical fun we find out heroes, George and Andy, talking about the new Andy Warhol biopic, Who's died, the latest music news and take a look at Ian Dury's 'New Boots and Panties' for our three of the best.
Here's the podcast, you can download it here and below i've attached the three of the best tracks for this weeks show.
I've just heard the sad news that Davy Jones has passed away. He has died of a heart attack aged 66, he grew up in Manchester, same area as my mums family and when I interviewed him last year I found him to be a completely charming and witty individual.
Here's a link to my in-depth chat I had with him about The Monkees, Head, his solo work and what was then, his future recording.
RIP Davy Jones 30 December 1945 – 29 February 2012
Well it's been a while and a few things have changed. The first being that 'Wildman' Alex Wild is no longer with us! He isn't dead...yet, but he's gone to 'that london' to find his riches. Replacing him are Andy Davies and 'Slick' Rick Walsh. The format the same, but instead of just posting the podcasts with bands were now posting every weekly show as a podcast!
This show is a bit of a downer as we talk 25th anniversary of Warhol's death, the death of the MC5s Michael Davis, whats going on with Music Copyright and lots more.... Here's a bumper show of over one hour to get you going.
Here's a new yourtube post for everyone to enjoy. This is an interesting music video edited together form the 60's kitchen sink drama 'A Taste of Honey.' The band playing underneath the film are my own rock and roll four piece, THE SYSTEMATICS. I hope you enjoy it.
The Systematics are a manchester/stockport 4 piece playing rock and roll and attempting to get signed. They are fronted by a blonde bassist that goes by the name Roxanne Collins and Guitarist George Wharmby. I hope you enjoy the video in this months 'YOURTUBE' The track is called I Dreamt of you Last Night.
I'm sorry to announce that the fantastic artist and the bassist of the MC5 died of liver failure yesterday. Man, RIP. Tune into the radio show on tuesday for our dedication to the man.
Jack White is at it again, this time with Tom Jones. They've just put up a cover of EVIL, the old Howlin Wolf track and it's a interesting cover. With horns, some mean slide guitar, a great honky-tonk piano coming in towards the end.
Jone's voice fits perfectly in this raw track, he needs to record a whole album with White. I mean seriously, it's mind blowing. I'm going to grab a 7" as soon as it's released on March 19th.
Wow, they're back with a bang. A 37 minute performance of an un-named track has been posted on Neil Young's website and it's really haunting, you need to sit back and crank it up. There is a visual element, a p.o.v camera tour around the recording studio as they play back the track. It's fantastic it really is. Neil's vocals don't kick in till 24 minutes into the track.
The queen of soul died today, in my opinion the best female Rhythm and Blues Soul singer. A real original that won't be replaced by any other. She never got the chance to ''knock Beyonce out'' for singing At Last at Obama's inaugrial ball.
Etta's manager, Lupe De Leon, confirmed that the singer died in Southern
California's Riverside Community Hospital from complications of
leukemia. Her husband and her sons were by her side.
Wow, were in the thick of it now arn't we. Two posts in under an hour! Yes! Right the news it that two of my favourite artists have got together. Man I loved Tom Jones's last album of blues and Gospel covers 'Praise and Blame.' His cover of Sister Rosetta Tharpe's Strange Things was immense!
Well now he's gotten together with a real blues hound, Jack White, and their putting out a single on Third Man Records. It's a re-recording of 'Jezebel' with Mr White producing and is promising to be fantastic! I haven't heard it yet, but I can't bloomin' Wait.
Just as your getting used to the fact that Nick Cave's broken up GRINDERMAN, he's just blooming announced a remix album!
This is an interesting concept with the songs from their GRINDERMAN 2 record being remixed by UNKLE, Nick Zinner from Yeah Yeah Yeahs and good old Barry Adamson....You know Barry, right? I'm looking forward to the double vinyl album version (with cd included) as I have yet to get GRINDERMAN 2 on record! I did order it online but the store had run out and decided not to tell me for 2 weeks!
This episode of YourTube is about a guy that's taught me alot about slide guitar on this youtube page, he's like a mountain man, half crazy and up for a jam. He tells you to feel the music and make love to your guitar. He's got a big big beared and a great collection of hats. Most of his stuff is instrumental slide, but its all slightly off the wall and filled with soul.
Just a quick note to say that after a new years break GDTKC will be back in a weekly form from next Tuesday, but first we'd like tocongratulate that deep soul diva Aretha Franklin on her engagement to her long term friend and partner Willie Wilkerson.
Aretha Franklin stated that "We're looking at June or July for our date, and no, I'm not pregnant, LOL!," I've popped under a great song of hers from The Blues Brothers Film. Hope you get a kick out of it.
